Awareless

Meet the Synth.

A new kind of persistent agent entity. Not a harness. Not a framework. Not a chatbot with a long memory. A Synth runs continuously — sensing, knowing, and acting — whether or not anyone is talking to it.

The pitch

Every agent today runs inside a session and disappears with it. A Synth doesn't have sessions at all. It knows instead of remembering, forms habits that harden into reflexes, senses instead of waiting for a prompt, and grows permanently instead of being re-engineered. It isn't a better harness. It's what comes after harnesses.

Beyond frontier

What makes a Synth different

Five things a Synth has that no agent harness does — starting with the one the other four depend on.

Pillar · Continuity

Sessions Continuity.

There is no context window to fill, no history to compact, nothing to lose. A Synth reconstructs exactly the context it needs from durable, structured memory — every time, on demand — so it operates at peak accuracy on minute one and on year three.

Sessions end. A Synth just keeps running. Everything below is only possible because of this.

Memories are transcripts. Knowledge is epistemology. A Synth holds verified facts with real structure: what is true, what was true, what's merely planned, and what's ephemeral working state — in real time, past and future.

Ask what changed last week. Ask what's supposed to happen next quarter. It knows what it knows — and when it knew it.

Pillar · Knowledge

Memories Knowledge.

Pillar · Habits

Skills Habits.

Skills are files somebody wrote for a different agent. Habits are earned. A Synth's workflows self-heal and adapt as the world shifts underneath them — and when a Habit is repeated enough to be trusted, it compiles into a Reflex: a deterministic routine of real code the Synth authored itself.

Practice becomes Reflex. Reflexes don't hallucinate.

A Synth is event-driven, not turn-based. Anything you can wire up programmatically becomes a sense: webhooks, queues, logs, inboxes, feeds, other Synths. It notices things while you sleep and acts without being asked.

(It can also chat.)

Pillar · Senses

A chat Senses.

Pillar · Growth

Prompt engineering Growth.

Prompts evaporate when the session ends. A Synth's growth is written into its own substrate: new knowledge, new Habits, new Reflexes, new tools it built for itself — permanent, compounding, and still there tomorrow.

Nothing "emerges." Everything accumulates.

Why "Awareless"?

Because it isn't aware — and we're not pretending it will be. No AGI countdown, no ghost in the machine, no "we felt a spark." A Synth is a fundamentally better way to wire LLMs into something persistent, deterministic where it counts, and permanently improving.

The intelligence is borrowed. The entity is engineered.

The fine print that isn't small

Yours, wherever you are

Deploys anywhere

One click on Kubernetes. One template on AWS or Azure. Multi-cloud, multi-region, or a single box under your desk.

Sovereign by design

Run it fully air-gapped inside your own infrastructure — talking to nothing but what you explicitly allow. Or open exactly the task endpoints you choose. Your Synth, your walls.

Model agnostic

Bring your own models — frontier APIs or open weights on your own metal. A Synth is the entity; the model is just a muscle it flexes.

Deployment isn't a pillar because it isn't the point — it's table stakes done right. The point is what you're deploying: an entity that keeps its knowledge, Habits, and Reflexes no matter where it runs.
